ABOUT
ABOUT
Coderhouse is one of the leading online education platforms in Latin America, offering courses in digital skills such as UX design, programming and digital marketing.
I worked on the design of Coderhouse's first mobile app, translating the desktop learning experience into a mobile product for students.
The MVP focused on giving students quick access to their course information and essential learning tools.

WHAT HAPPENED?
Shortly after launch, product satisfaction metrics started to decline. App ratings dropped from 4.6 to 2.2.
To understand why, I designed a CSAT survey — validated with the Product team and built by Engineering — that collected hundreds of open-ended responses directly in the app. Together with a UX Researcher, we analyzed and categorized the feedback.
Later, when a new PM joined the team, we ran an NPS survey sent to users via email, which gave us a broader read on overall satisfaction. The score reached was -74.
The combination of both inputs shaped our prioritization.

WHAT WE DID?
WHAT WE DID?
While Engineering focused on fixing stability issues, I partnered with a UX Researcher and the Product team to prioritize the most critical student workflows. Each solution was designed, prototyped and validated before development.
Based on the feedback analysis, we identified three areas where design could have the most immediate impact:

OUTCOMES
OUTCOMES
Within six months, the app ratings recovered from 2.2 to 4.5 on both stores and the NPS moved from -74 to +49 over the following quarters, driven by improvements in stability and the design iterations of the student workflows.
Store reviews from the period reflect the shift: students began describing the app as stable, useful and intuitive — language that wasn't present before the iterations.
